Configuring for private server:
1.From the menu, proceed as follows:
- Installation > Network > IP setup
- Set the unit on “Auto” then click “Apply”
- All your settings should be filled in instantly.
2. Proceed to Net Application
- Set Softcam to Dream & Newcamd
- Set to Private Server #1
- Zero out any other private servers
3. Fill in private server information
- Enter Host Name (select, and press OK)
- Enter Port
- Enter Deskey
- Hit Authorization
- Enter ID (username)
- Enter Password
Another thing if you need to change letters to capital or lower case letters when putting the info in To do so simply hit the red button on the remote to toggle on or off the Caps.
4. Exit Net Application and head to ”Channel Search” to setup sats.
